  3. When we pray we don't want to have any idols in our hearts, otherwise the message we receive is distorted coming through the idol rather than from Jesus directly. An idol could be a boyfriend or any desire that we allow to be bigger in our heart than God is.

  4. We have a vision for a church that sees conversions of rich and poor, highly educated and less educated, men and women, old and young, married and single, and all races. We hope to draw highly secular and postmodern people, as well as reaching religious and traditional people.

  7. When we are dreaming of something or when we have a vision during the day, we usually try to discover its meaning. When we are looking for our dream or vision interpretation, we have to take into account our emotions and thoughts in a real life.

  8. Jan 01,  · Slowly God is building our purpose driven church. Our motto is We Win the Lost, Care for the Flock, Equip the Saints, Serve the Family, Honour God and Impact our World. This article really spoke to my heart. This year our church will be 20 years old, we don’t have a building, we cart instruments and equipment and set up and break down every week.

  9. So I determined that we were going to have a clear vision in our ministry. I told our staff, “We’re going to pray until we get God’s vision for this church.” And God gave us a glorious one.
